Factions also remember betrayals. If you accept a mission and then double-cross your employer, the fallout can be swift and severe.

Factions also remember betrayals. If you accept a mission and then double-cross your employer, the fallout can be Skull and Bones Silver swift and severe. From a loss of access to faction stores, to full-blown bounties placed on your head, consequences can escalate quickly.

Making Friends at Sea

While Skull and Bones allows you to live out the fantasy of a ruthless pirate warlord, there are immense benefits to cultivating friendships. Aligning yourself with a faction opens up exclusive contracts, valuable trade routes, and access to advanced technology. It also means safer passage through faction-controlled waters, fewer hostile patrols, and backup during major naval skirmishes.

You can build positive relations in several ways:

Complete faction missions that involve escorting, cargo delivery, or eliminating enemies.

Trade rare goods and pay docking fees in faction ports.

Assist in defensive actions when their settlements are under siege.

Avoid hostile actions, like stealing from their merchants or raiding their harbors.

These peaceful efforts not only earn favor but also stack to unlock long-term perks such as discounts, crew upgrades, and special blueprints.

Choosing Your Enemies

In Skull and Bones, picking a fight is often inevitable. But which faction you choose to antagonize should be a strategic decision, not a reckless one. Attacking a small, isolated group may provide quick spoils with limited retaliation. However, assaulting a major power like the East India Company can trigger cascading consequences, such as the loss of trade access or multi-faction retaliation.

That said, there are rewards for playing the villain. High-risk raids often yield better loot, and infamous pirates can unlock unique titles, gear, and notoriety bonuses. Enemies you’ve thoroughly weakened may also yield to Skull and Bones Items for sale negotiation later, if you manage your aggression with precision.
