New Weapons in Black Ops 6 Zombies
Thanks to leaks, we now have insight into some unreleased weapons coming in Black Ops 6 Season 5. Here are the most exciting ones:

1. MP40 (Iconic Zombies SMG)
The MP40 is making its return, and fans are thrilled. Originally introduced in Black Ops 2 on the Origins map, the MP40 is an iconic weapon in the Zombies community. After being teased in January 2025, it’s now confirmed to be part of The Reckoning. This SMG is expected to live up to its legacy and provide players with the same nostalgic experience they loved in previous games.

2. Uzi Carbine (Mini Uzi)
Another returning weapon is the Uzi Carbine, last seen in Black Ops 2 Zombies on Mob of the Dead. Labeled as an assault rifle in the game files, the Uzi Carbine will likely be a fast-firing, powerful weapon that, when equipped with attachments like the monolithic suppressor and rapid-fire mod, will be a deadly option in Zombies.

3. APS Underwater Rifle
The APS, originally seen in Call of Duty: Ghosts during an underwater mission, is making a comeback. It is expected to function similarly to the UGR from Black Ops Cold War and is rumored to feature explosive fletches, adding a unique and exciting gameplay element for Black Ops 6 Zombies.

4. M60 LMG
The M60, first introduced in Black Ops 1, is also set to return. Known for its heavy stopping power and slow fire rate, the M60 is a fan-favorite LMG. It’s expected to make a big impact in Black Ops 6, especially with various customization options available through attachments.

5. Chainsaw Melee Weapon
Perhaps the most exciting rumor is the potential addition of a chainsaw as a melee weapon. This would allow players to mow down zombies in style, and while it isn’t confirmed yet, the idea has been circulating in the game’s files for a while. If this weapon becomes available, it would be a major highlight of Black Ops 6 Zombies.

6. Brass Knuckles and Boxing Gloves
Fans of close combat may also get their hands on brass knuckles and boxing gloves. While these were available in Black Ops 3 for multiplayer only, they could now be coming to Black Ops 6 Zombies. These brutal, fast-paced melee weapons would be a fun addition to the game’s arsenal.

New Perk for DLC 4
In addition to the new weapons, there is also a new perk rumored to be coming with The Reckoning map. Two unreleased perks have been spotted in the game files: one labeled as WC_mod and the other as Zcore. These could indicate the return of some classic perks, such as:

Widow's Wine/Winter's Whale
- Widow’s Wine and its upgraded version Winter’s Whale could be making a return. These perks replace your grenades with sticky grenades that trap zombies in webbing or freeze them, giving players an escape route when surrounded. Winter’s Whale added frost explosions when players were hit by a melee attack, freezing nearby zombies. Players are hopeful that one of these perks will return with a fresh twist.

Zomb Shell
- The Zomb Shell perk from Black Ops 4 is another possibility. This perk creates a small electrical orb on the ground that slows down zombies and increases the damage they take. It also has a camouflage effect, similar to Vulture Aid. Though it wasn’t the most popular perk in Black Ops 4, it could receive an upgrade to make it more useful in Black Ops 6.

There’s a lot to be excited about in the upcoming Black Ops 6 Zombies update, with The Reckoning map bringing new weapons and potentially some revamped perks. The return of classic weapons like the MP40, Uzi Carbine, and M60 will thrill fans, while the possibility of a chainsaw melee weapon has players buzzing with excitement. Along with these, the return of Widow’s Wine or Winter’s Whale perks will add extra layers of strategy to gameplay.

As we get closer to the release date of August 7th, 2025, more details and teasers are expected to emerge. Be sure to stay tuned for updates, and let us know in the comments which weapon or perk you’re most excited to see in The Reckoning.
